How can I safely clean my wood jewelry?
We generally recommend to just wipe it down with a clean damp microfiber cloth, sometimes hair products or other things can get on the wood and gunk it up. To clean up any stubborn spots you can clean with a damp cloth with a mild detergent. Be sure to wipe down with a fresh clean damp cloth to remove any soap and let dry.
How can I treat the wood after cleaning?
You can coat the wood with some beeswax or our favorite product, Odie's Wood Butter. You can use a clean terrycloth or microfiber to apply the wax to the wood, be sure to load it up liberally and let it set for a bit. Now wipe it down with a clean microfiber cloth, being sure to wipe with the grain while being gentle, some woods while being hardwoods are still delicate.

Size
We've put this guide together to help you understand how the dimensions are taken of our Wood Jewelry. If you're unsure of the size of any of our pieces, please click the + symbol next to the dimensions tab on the product page to see the approximate dimensions and weight of each item. Read on to understand exactly how we take these measurements.
L x W x T (Length x Width x Thickness)
- Length and width are rounded to the nearest .125" or 1/8 of an inch
- Thickness is rounded to the nearest .03125" or 1/32 of an inch
Earrings
Length is measured from top to the bottom of the piece for Post Mount Earrings. Dangle earrings are measured from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the piece. Width is measured across the face of the earring. Thickness is measured at the widest part in the case of tapered pieces.
Pendants
Length is measured from top of the bale or jump ring to the bottom of the piece. Width is measured across the face of the pendant. Thickness is measured at the widest part in the case of tapered pieces.

Cufflinks
Dimensions given on the product page are just for the decorative hardwood portion of the cufflinks, the findings/clasps are all identical and protrude exactly 3/4's of an inch from the back when closed. They are standard sized cufflink findings.
Weight
Weight is the measured total in grams, so for earrings or cufflinks you would divide this in half for individual weight.
- All weights are measured in grams and accurate to approximately 1/10 of a gram
Generally speaking anything over 10 grams each or 20 grams for the pair could be considered a heavier earring. This is a highly subjective and why we include the weight of our earrings in the listings so you can make an informed decision. As a point of reference, a US nickel weighs exactly 5 grams.

FAQ
Can I have reactions to the stains or oils used in the finishing process?
We only use food safe natural oil and wax finishes that are hypoallergenic. These oils are made from organic seeds and other plant based byproducts. No toxic solvents containing heavy metals or other harsh chemicals are ever used on any of our products.Do you use stains to get all these wild colors?
For most of our pieces, it's just the natural color of the wood highlighted by the natural oil and wax. However some of our products are dyed using a natural water based dying process and we clearly state that in the title of each product. All others colors are naturally occurring! Our dyeing process that we use is 100% natural and non toxic. Once dyed we apply our same two step natural oil / wax finish for protection and to fully encapsulate the dyed surface as well as highlight the colors and grain of the wood.Why use Titanium Hardware?
We love Titanium and you should too! Here's why, its completely inert, its used for surgical procedures because it will not interact with the human body, and it's stronger than any other material generally used for findings, so it will last a lifetime! Sure its definitely harder to work than using cheap findings from the craft store and without a doubt more expensive, but we think you're worth it! Plus as a bonus it can be anodized in a rainbow of colors!Is using exotic wood bad for the environment?
Absolutely not! All of our hardwoods that we use are ethically sourced from suppliers locally or across the globe that only sell sustainably harvested lumber. A lot of our materials are harvested from the trees on or near my property in Michigan or from cut offs and excess stock of larger projects of friends and fellow woodworkers. Rest assured we love trees and are doing our part to ensure we leave as small of a environmental footprint as possible.Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
For orders in the US, we will ship any of our jewelry items for a flat rate of $5 via using USPS 1st class mail. If you spend $100 or more we will upgrade you to FREE USPS Priority shipping. For international customers, we use carrier rates direct from USPS or DHL to determine the cost of shipping in your cart.
What shipping services do you offer?
For domestic shipping inside the US, we are currently only using USPS.
For international orders, we offer both USPS and DHL services.
When will my order ship?
Orders are usually processed and shipped within the same business day so long as they are in by 4:00 PM EST. We will email your shipping confirmation including tracking once your order has shipped.
For Expedited shipping (DHL, UPS and FedEx 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air), orders must be received by 3:00 PM EST time to ship same day. Expedited orders placed after 3:00 PM EST time will be shipped the following business day.
Please keep in mind, Saturday, Sunday, and Federal Holidays are not considered business days. Shipping times are not guaranteed with the exceptions of UPS Next Day Air or FedEx Overnight.
Do you ship Internationally?
We do ship internationally and approved destination countries will be listed upon checkout and in the Region selector at the bottom of our page. We offer a choice of both USPS and DHL services for International Shipping.
Currently we are shipping to the following countries:
Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Czechia, Poland, Denmark and Vatican City.
If you are outside any of these countries and are interested in purchasing from us, please reach out and we will see what we can do to accommodate you.
PLEASE NOTE: Customs, Duties, Taxes, VAT, ETC.
For international orders, the buyer is responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, and any other fees assessed by the recipient’s destination country. Please contact your Customs office and chosen carrier for information on duties, taxes and restricted items. If the recipient fails to pay applicable duties and taxes, the package will be abandoned and Ronin Machinewerks will not refund the abandoned order, including any applicable shipping charges.
Can I add or change items to an existing order?
Items cannot be changed or added to an order once it has been confirmed. Your order is confirmed once you have completed the checkout stage and have been sent an email with your confirmation number. Our updated system does not allow for these types of changes. If you would like to order additional items, you are welcome to place a new order online.
Can I cancel an order once the order has been placed?
We work hard to get all orders processed as quickly as possible. If you want to cancel an order, we will do our best to accommodate your request, but there is a chance we may get it shipped before we get your request, so we cannot guarantee cancellation in all situations.
Can I combine orders?
We are sorry, but we are unable to combine orders. Combining orders would cause additional delays for all open shipments which we wish to avoid. To best serve all our valued customers we process orders as quickly and efficiently as we can.
Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
We do ship to APO/FPO addresses, most of which will be available upon checkout. If the APO/FPO you need is not listed, please contact us and we will make sure to get your order resolved and shipped out to the APO/FPO that you want.
Returns
Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging.

If your return is accepted, you will be responsible for shipping it back to us, I will supply you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on donations, sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
I will notify you once I’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
